May 2018 – Meeting Reminder

It’s our WI meeting this Friday – 11th May

We’ve got our annual meeting, followed by Vintage Games and Human Hungry Hippos! Those of you with a sensitive bladder may wish to come prepared. 😂

Hopefully you’ve all done your homework, and read the information on the resolutions as we’ll be asking you to vote on them and to nominate a new President for Jam.

There’s a few things remember for this meeting – you’ll need to bring:

County Show Entries (see how they are at the top of the list!)  There’s a few reminders and tips at the very bottom of the post if you’re interested.
Cakes for Wool @J13, if your not attending and taking your own.
Any seeds or plants you have spare – see the poster below.

If you want to attend the County Show Preview Evening on the 29th May – you need to let us know and pay on the night. £6 per ticket.

County Show Info

All craft / photo entries should be brought to Friday’s meeting, unless you’ve made other arrangements with Julie.

Those of you doing bread / cakes/ flowers, Julie will catch up with you to arrange delivery / collection of the entries.

Those of you doing photos, we are ordering  mounts but they won’t be there for the meeting .  We will get them in time for the show and lovingly mount your photos for you. 😉😉

If you want a mount for your photo please let Julie know. I’ve got a list of those doing photo’s but it easier if you let me know than chase everyone.

Finally please make sure your entry does NOT have you name or Let’s Make Jam on it anywhere. If you could put photos in an envelope sealed with your name and craft entries in a bag with your name stuck on the front it’ll help me identify your entry from the other billion entries.

If you want your entry displayed in a particular way please leave some instructions in the bag.
