A fantastically busy evening!
Meeting in our usual hall on Friday 8th December for an evening of craft, celebration and charity.
Back by popular demand our third Let‘s Make Christmas event! Everyone loves to recieve a Christmas gift but we also love to give so here at Jam we gave you the amazing opportunity to do both for the small cost of £1* (used to by festive bags for life).
Members made six identical items ~ something they would like to recieve, it could of been anything! In 2016 people made stag heads, Christmas cakes, woolly hats, gift labels, toffee sauce, Christmas tree decorations.
Our Chief Elf was secretly in touch with all members. Clear instructions were given to only tell the elf what was being made, that way she can group items to give a mixture of everything.
Items were delivered wrapped {simple tissue paper is perfect} to our December meeting, at the end of the meeting members left with a bag full of Christmas gifts – most decided not to actual wait till Christmas day to open!
The 6th item made by everyone was used to make an awesome charity hamper – raffled on the evening and won by the wonderful Andrea.
Hi Christmas crafter.
As soon as you have decided what you are making for the LMJ Let’s Make Christmas please send me a message – Santa’s desktop gets very busy at this time of year.
If you have any allergies, I don’t want to kill you so if you share details then I will do our very best to ensure all your items are safe!
Merry Craftmas
