What a delightful afternoon! 13 lovely members and two beautiful daughters met at the Vintage Tea Emporium Uttoxeter to celebrate our third birthday. The function room, bedecked with vintage china,flowers, lace, balloons and bunting looked stunning! We oohed & aahed over dinky sandwiches, giant scones (of course the jam was spread before the cream), mini banoffee pies and a very coffee and walnut cake. We toasted friendship and jam, and plan to be doing this for at least the next 30 years.
Of course we weren’t totally lady like, a very special baton seemed to make an appearance and although Paul Hollywood can do wonders with those hands general consensus perhaps he’s not the man for us 😉
