It’s a hoot! The owl experience.

This months meeting was a (very!) last minute change of plans but disappointment was nowhere in sight. What greeted members at St. Werberghs were three stunningly beautiful owls from ‘The Owl Experience‘.  These charming birds were well behaved as individually members petted, stroked and held the birds.
We were spoken to about owl habits, the horrors of keeping owls as pets and the depletion of these birds in the wild, as well as being given details on projects to save and rescue endangered species. This was clearly a joy for members, and there were many giggles from the room provided by the fantastic voluntary crew from ‘The Owl Experience‘ who made it an informative and fun evening.
